San Juan Structures is the premiere contractor in Southwest Colorado for distinctive log homes. They set themselves apart with the use of large hand hewn logs that create large open interiors.  This specific home was built with a unique construction method that simplified the construction with stone corners which resulted in a stone and log combination that gives it an original character.  The Great Room and Kitchen are set apart with a massive stone fireplace. The design also features cantilevered log eaves at each of the dormers. These create big shadow lines to match the large log construction.  Despite the scale of the logs and stone elements, the home delivers a very ‘at home’ feeling.
