The Zink Residence is a remodel of an existing home at 11th St and 4th Ave.  The site was very tight due some of the strange historical property boundaries and topography.  To allow for more area to be built, the property lines were adjusted with the City of Durango to give the home more yard space while allowing better alley access for the city.  The basement features a bedroom and bath remodel while the upstairs has a remodeled studio and two new bedrooms with a shared bath.  The main floor has an open kitchen/living/dining area opening to a patio with a large sliding door.  There is a large mudroom/laundry suitable for an active family.  The master suite and office were remodeled in the existing structure facing 4th Avenue, with a master bath added to the south.
